Located between Shreveport and Gilliam, LA is 20 miles of country highway with these beautiful fields of sunflowers; some small, medium and large! We, however, did not discover that [important] fact until after driving and searching for the largest field for about 40 mins! Haha! It was such a mystery to us as we were driving down this long road seeing multiple fields that didn’t quite look like the pictures we had seen online. Haha!

This shoot was filled with the unexpected! Ephraim literally climbed on Ashley’s car to get a beautiful aerial shot of the field of sunflowers that seems to never end. Ashley and Stacy were so chill, it was a breeze shooting this couple! Stacy pulled out his [military issued] AK47 at the end of the shoot haha, which is one of my favorite shots! I love that these two both chose professions that are dedicated to serving others! It’s just a testament to who they are!
